1. CONTACT US BEFORE ORDERING: Before purchasing or shipping a firearm, contact KILO 1 SIX ARMS to confirm that we can receive the firearm and complete the transfer. Do not have a firearm shipped without prior approval.
2. PROVIDE OUR FFL INFORMATION:If the seller requires a copy of our Federal Firearms License, have the seller or transferring dealer contact us directly. Our FFL information will be provided through an appropriate and secure method.
3. SEND US YOUR ORDER INFORMATION: Provide the following: Your full legal name - Your current telephone number - Your email address - The seller’s or transferring dealer’s information - The firearm’s manufacturer and model - The order or invoice number - Available shipment tracking information - Your information should match the identification you will present when completing the transfer.
4. WAIT FOR OUR ARRIVAL NOTICE: Tracking information showing “delivered” does not mean the firearm is immediately ready for pickup. Every firearm must first be received, inspected and entered into our required records. We will contact you when your firearm is ready.
5. COMPLETE THE TRANSFER: The actual recipient must appear in person with acceptable, current government-issued photo identification showing their legal name, residence address and date of birth. The recipient must complete all required paperwork and receive the legally required background-check result before the firearm can be released.
WHAT TO BRING - Please bring: A valid government-issued photo ID, Documentation for any recent name or address change, any additional documents required for your specific transaction, payment for the transfer fee, your order or transfer information, all information provided must be complete, accurate and truthful. A concealed-carry permit does not automatically eliminate federal paperwork, identification or background-check requirements.
IMPORTANT TRANSFER POLICIES: THE ACTUAL RECIPIENT MUST COMPLETE THE TRANSFER - The person receiving the firearm must complete the required paperwork personally. Never purchase or receive a firearm on behalf of someone who is the true buyer unless the transaction is otherwise expressly permitted by law. We will not participate in straw purchases, false statements, prohibited transfers or attempts to avoid any legal requirement.
BACKGROUND-CHECK RESULTS: A firearm will be released only after all applicable requirements have been satisfied and KILO 1 SIX ARMS is legally authorized to complete the transfer. A delay is not a denial, but the firearm cannot be released until the transfer may lawfully proceed under our policies and applicable law. Transfer fees compensate us for receiving, processing, documenting and securely handling the firearm. Fees remain due regardless of whether the transaction is completed, delayed, denied, cancelled or returned, except where KILO 1 SIX ARMS agrees otherwise in writing.
FIREARM ELIGIBILITY: Customers are responsible for confirming that they may lawfully purchase, receive and possess the firearm being ordered. KILO 1 SIX ARMS reserves the right to decline any firearm or transaction that: Cannot be lawfully received or transferred - Arrives from an unverified or unacceptable source - Contains inaccurate or incomplete documentation - Has an altered, removed or illegible serial number - Is damaged, unsafe or materially different from the shipment description - Creates a compliance, safety or security concern - Violates our policies or applicable law - Acceptance of a shipment does not guarantee that the firearm can be transferred to the intended recipient.
SHIPMENT REQUIREMENTS: Every firearm shipment must include: The sender’s name and contact information - The intended recipient’s full name and contact information - A copy of the invoice, sales receipt or transfer document - Complete firearm information - A valid signed FFL copy when required - Any serialized frame, receiver or other regulated component shipped by a licensee must be accompanied by the transferring dealer’s valid FFL information. A non-licensee seeking to ship a personally owned firearm must contact us before shipment for instructions. Identification and additional documentation may be required. Never place a firearm inside an unmarked shipment without the required sender and recipient documentation.
ACCESSORIES AND EXTRA ITEMS: Shipments should contain only the firearm or serialized item being transferred and those components already installed on that firearm. Do not include loose or separately packaged accessories such as: Sights, Optics, Stocks, Braces, Grips, Handguards, Barrels, Muzzle devices, Magazines, Ammunition, Cases, Slings, Lights or lasers, Other non-serialized merchandise. Accessories may be accepted when they are already installed on the firearm and are lawful for the transaction. Unauthorized loose merchandise may be refused, returned or subject to additional handling charges.
PRIVATE-PARTY TRANSFERS: KILO 1 SIX ARMS can assist with eligible transfers between private parties. Both parties should contact us before arriving. The firearm must be unloaded and secured in an appropriate case or container. Do not handle or remove the firearm unless instructed. The transfer will be documented in accordance with applicable requirements. The recipient must provide acceptable identification, complete the required paperwork and receive an eligible background-check response before taking possession. If the transfer cannot be completed, the firearm will remain with or be returned only to a person who may lawfully receive it and only after any required procedures have been completed. Private-party transfers are subject to the same $25 first firearm and $15 each additional firearm pricing unless a different fee is quoted in advance.
OUT-OF-STATE TRANSFERS: Firearms shipped to a customer outside Alabama must be sent to a valid Federal Firearms Licensee in the recipient’s state or jurisdiction. Before shipment, the receiving dealer must provide: A valid signed copy of its Federal Firearms License, The customer’s full name and contact information, Any required order, invoice or transfer documentation, Confirmation that the firearm is legal and accepted in that jurisdiction. We do not ship directly to an unlicensed out-of-state recipient. Handguns and other firearms subject to residency restrictions must be transferred through an eligible dealer in the recipient’s state of residence.
RESTRICTED JURISDICTIONS: Firearms laws, magazine limitations, approved-product requirements and shipping restrictions vary by state and locality and may change. KILO 1 SIX ARMS will not ship or transfer any firearm, magazine, regulated component or other item to a location where possession, receipt, transfer or shipment is prohibited. Some jurisdictions—including California, Connecticut, Delaware, the District of Columbia, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Rhode Island and Washington—may impose additional restrictions or documentation requirements. This list is not exhaustive. Every transaction is reviewed individually. The receiving dealer and customer must confirm legality before the firearm is shipped.
NFA AND CLASS 3 TRANSFERS: Currently KILO 1 SIX ARMS is not a Class 3 SOT FFL Dealer; However we do work closely with specific Class 3 SOT FFL Dealers - Suppressors, short-barreled rifles, short-barreled shotguns, machine guns and other items regulated under the National Firearms Act require specialized documentation, approvals and transfer procedures. Do not purchase or ship an NFA-regulated item without contacting us first. NFA transfer services, pricing and availability are quoted separately based on the specific item and transaction.
RETURNS AND UNCLAIMED FIREARMS: Returns are subject to the original seller’s policies. KILO 1 SIX ARMS is not responsible for a seller’s restocking fees, return-shipping charges, incorrect product descriptions or refusal to accept a return. No firearm will be returned, forwarded or released without the documentation and procedures required by law. Firearms left unclaimed may be subject to storage charges after the customer has been notified. Extended or abandoned-property situations will be handled according to written company policy and applicable law.
