Consignment Sales

Consignment items are used and sold AS-IS, WHERE-IS. Kilo 1 Six Arms (K1SA) makes no warranty, express or implied, including merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. Only a manufacturer warranty that transfers to you by its own terms, if any, applies.

Condition, round count, accessories and known issues are provided by the consignor and described in good faith from our inspection. They are not guaranteed. Photos may not show every mark or wear. Please inspect the item on pickup. Have any used firearm checked by a qualified gunsmith before firing.

All firearms are transferred in our store or shipped only to another Federal Firearms Licensee (FFL). Every firearm transfer requires ATF Form 4473 and a NICS background check (or an approved alternative permit where allowed). You must be legally eligible to receive the firearm: 21 or older for handguns and 18 or older for rifles and shotguns, and you must meet all state and local laws where you live and where you take possession. A denied or delayed background check is not grounds for a refund of non-refundable fees. See Transfers.

If you pick up in our Spruce Pine store, the firearm is transferred in store. If we ship to another FFL, the K1SA transfer fee is $25 for the first firearm and $15 for each additional firearm on the same transfer, and your receiving FFL may charge its own fee. Submit your dealer at FFL Transfer Request.

Buyer pays shipping at the store's posted shipping rates. Firearms ship only to an FFL. We do not ship to states or localities where an item is restricted.

Under federal law, you must be 21 or older to buy handgun ammunition (including ammunition that can be used in a handgun) and 18 or older for rifle and shotgun ammunition. Stricter state or local rules may apply. Used or reloaded ammunition from consignment is sold as a component only, at your own risk.

NFA items (suppressors, short-barreled rifles and shotguns, machine guns, AOWs) need ATF approval of the transfer (Form 4) before you can take possession. NFA items are not sold online. Contact the store about NFA consignments.

Prices are set by the consignor. K1SA acts as agent for the consignor in the sale. The consignor owns the item until it sells.

All consignment sales are final. The only exception: if the item is materially misrepresented in its listing and you report it to us within 3 days of pickup or delivery to your FFL, contact us and we will review it. Transfer fees, shipping and background-check fees are not refundable.

Inspection and pickup are at our store: 526 McNatt Rd, Spruce Pine, AL 35585. Bring a valid government-issued photo ID. Pick up within the time we give you after purchase, or the item may return to the consignor's inventory.

No holds without a deposit. With a non-refundable deposit (we suggest 20% of the price) we may hold an item for up to 30 days, at the store's discretion. Layaway is offered only where the consignor agrees, in writing at the counter. The firearm stays at K1SA until it is paid in full and the transfer is approved.

It is a federal crime to buy a firearm for someone else who is prohibited, or who does not want their name on the record. You must be the actual buyer of the firearm. Lying on ATF Form 4473 is a felony under 18 U.S.C. § 922(a)(6) and § 924(a), punishable by up to 10 years in prison and a fine of up to $250,000. Straw purchasing and firearms trafficking under 18 U.S.C. § 932 carry up to 15 years. We will refuse any sale we believe is a straw purchase.

Store firearms unloaded and locked, with ammunition stored separately, and out of reach of children and unauthorized people. Many states impose criminal liability when a child gets access to a negligently stored firearm. Use a lock or safe. Safety tips: Project ChildSafe.

K1SA reserves the right to refuse or cancel any sale, at its discretion, including when eligibility, identity or intent is in doubt, or where the sale may be unlawful.
