Primary Weapons Systems FRC Compensator - 1/2x28 - .223 Rem / 5.56 NATO - Atlas Suppressor Mount

Recoil Control with a Rearden Atlas-Compatible Suppressor Interface

Features

• 2-port compensator designed to reduce recoil and muzzle rise on compatible .223 Rem and 5.56 NATO rifles
• Externally threaded to serve as a suppressor host for Rearden Atlas-type mounting systems
• Port geometry also redirects muzzle flash away from optics and the shooter’s line of sight
• External taper helps support concentric suppressor mounting and reduces carbon buildup on the mounting threads
• Flat-shoulder configuration is intended for conventional barrels with a square shoulder behind the muzzle threads
• Compact 1.64″ overall length
• Does not require timing during installation
• Black nitride finish and made in the USA

The Primary Weapons Systems FRC 2-Port Compensator combines recoil and muzzle-rise control with a suppressor-ready mounting interface for Rearden Atlas-type systems. Its compact flat-shoulder design uses an external taper to support consistent suppressor lockup while helping keep carbon away from the mounting threads. Because the two-port layout does not require directional timing, installation is simpler than a conventional timed brake.

Note: This is the flat-shoulder version for compatible 1/2×28 barrels. PWS recommends 25–35 ft-lb of installation torque and does not recommend using a crush washer. Verify suppressor and adapter compatibility before use.
