Faxon Firearms Match Series AR-15 Barrel - 12.5" - .338 ARC - Gunner Profile - Pistol-Length - 1:8 Twist

SAAMI-Spec 1:8 Twist in a Compact 12.5″ .338 ARC Barrel

Features

• 12.5″ barrel length provides a compact .338 ARC setup while retaining additional barrel length over shorter pistol configurations
• 1:8 twist matches the SAAMI .338 ARC velocity and pressure test-barrel twist specification
• Pistol-length gas system is configured for reliable operation in the short-barrel AR-15 platform
• Gunner profile keeps more material toward the chamber while reducing forward barrel weight
• 5R button rifling provides Faxon’s Match Series bore geometry
• Salt-bath nitride treatment provides wear and corrosion resistance inside and outside the barrel
• NP3-coated barrel extension provides a low-friction, corrosion-resistant locking surface
• 5/8×24 muzzle threads accept compatible .338-caliber muzzle devices and suppressor mounts

The Faxon Match Series 12.5″ .338 ARC barrel provides a compact AR-15 configuration built around the cartridge’s standard 1:8 twist rate. Its pistol-length gas system and 5R button rifling support the .338 ARC platform’s ability to run both subsonic and supersonic ammunition, while the Gunner contour keeps unnecessary weight toward the rear of the rifle. Faxon’s salt-bath nitride treatment and NP3-coated barrel extension provide durable working surfaces throughout the assembly.

Note: Use a .338 ARC-compatible bolt, magazine, and pistol-length gas system. A standard 5.56 bolt is not compatible.
