30 CAL 308DIA 168GR HPBT MATCH

The Sierra MatchKing 2200 is a .30 caliber match bullet you load yourself packed 500 to a box for the reloader who shoots often and wants a consistent supply on the bench. It is a 168 grain hollow point boat tail with an open tip match design and it carries the reputation that made MatchKing known worldwide for consistent record-setting accuracy in rifles and handguns.

This bullet drops into any .30 cal cartridge that takes a .308" diameter projectile which covers a wide slice of the rifle rounds handloaders build most. The boat tail base and open tip match profile give a flat trajectory and high momentum on delivery with low sensitivity to crosswinds at every distance you shoot. That combination is why the 168 grain HPBT stays a benchmark for target and competition work.

The 2200 earned its name in long-range target competition and in 30 caliber handgun silhouette where shooters run rifle cartridges through platforms like the Remington XP-100. Whether it leaves a bolt gun or a single-shot handgun the MatchKing does the same job: hold a tight group at distance. If you are working up a precision .308 load this is a component built for the accuracy side of the equation rather than terminal performance on game.
